Cache Details
Description
The 52nd cache hidden by caughtatwork is another moveable cache and can only be found on Geocaching Australia.
Your challenge is to locate this cache, collect it, run away, make your log and rehide it in a location that matches the color of the cache container.
The log sheet is waterproof to (hopefully) ensure its longevity.
Please feel free to log this cache up to 10 times as long as you are having fun finding and rehiding it. Of course, you should wait until someone else has hidden it before you can log it as a find again.
There are some simple guidelines:
- When you grab the cache please rehide it again the same day or at the latest within 24 hours.
- Rehide the cache attached to an object the same or similar in color.
The further away the merrier.
- Log your find here as soon as you can so others are not trying to find the cache you just moved.
- When logging your find at geocaching.com.au, please insert the co-ordinates in the coords box.
This allows the software to automatically update the new location. Enter your co-ordinates in the format Sdd mm.mmm Eddd mm.mmm You don't have to include the degrees or minutes symbols when entering updated co-ordinates but you should leave a space between the degrees and minutes. Try a copy and paste of the example co-ordinates into the new co-ordinates box and type over them.
- Please keep this cache in Australia but feel free to move it interstate if you feel in the mood.
- Wherever possible, try and keep to the difficulty / terrain rating as originally listed.
Of course the best fun about one of these caches is that you don't have to worry about being spotted retrieving the cache. Feel free to be as obvious as you need to be in order to claim it.
Then run away as fast as you can.
Enjoy.

Streuth Benny, Lucky we didn't find each other. I also had a quick look about 1100 today. Also no joy. A very exposed position to be in for so long.

Little Red must really be hiding. I searched high and low, near and far. I easily found the matching "red" and a stripy "red" as well! I just hope Little Red has not been moved by a Muggle in the past three months. I will be passing that way again in the next week or two so if she has not relocated by then I will have another look. |

After being contacted by snoo snoo it had become obvious that some foul play to our favourite little red had occured. We have just made a new log sheet keeping all the old names on the log. The orignal sheet has dried out but is covered in mould. If this is suitable with caughtatwork we will put the cache back into play. |

Found at 1530 with the assistance of the Blair/Balls. After hitting the dirt tracks and wondering where in blazes we would end up, suddenly the Gympie Muster stage appeared out of the green. With two large red metal stage wings, we really didn't need the GPS to tell us where Red was. Meika and Kaylene both spotted it simultaneously and I did the honours of climbing the metalwork to retrieve it. Really nice hide powellbruce. As we have only just got home from a spot of camping, we will hide it tomorrow.

S26° 41.411' E152° 53.589' Just had a call from Brummy....details as follows:
He tracked down the big bad wolf to the location as listed above. After a ragging battle which involved both stealth and an axe he managed to rescue Little Red. Unfortunately Little Red had expired :( Not to be deterred, the every resourceful Brummy managed to extract a DNA sample and produced a Litte Red Clone.

S27° 15.773' E153° 6.281' A quick note to log the starting co-ordinates for posterity.
Also, you won't find the initial hide in anything red, nor magnetic. Although it is near (well a couple of k's) from something named red.
My Brother-in-Law who will have a caching name soon, brought this cache back to Queensland from Victoria and I didn't quite explain clearly what needed to be done.
Still the cache shouldn't be hard to find as I've been led to believe it's the only place in that area that could have a cache. If future hiders could keep to the red theme that would be appreciated. |
